GB/T 13850-2025 Electrical measuring transducers for converting AC and DC electrical quantities to analogue or digital signals
Basic Information
Scope
This document specifies the technical requirements for measurement transmitters with power input and output, used to measure AC or DC electrical parameters. The output signal may be an analog or digital signal.
This document applies to measurement transmitters that convert the following electrical quantities into output signals:
——— Current;
——— Voltage;
——— Active power;
——— Reactive power;
——— Power factor;
——— Phase angle;
——— Frequency;
——— Harmonic or total harmonic distortion;
——— Apparent power;
——— DC power.
The above electrical parameters include AC and/or DC components.
This document applies to the following cases:
a) The input quantity has a fundamental frequency between 0 Hz and 1500 Hz;
b) Electrical measurement transmitters as part of electrical or non-electrical measurement systems;
c) Transmitters suitable for various applications, such as remote measurement and process control, as well as in many specific environments.
This document does not apply to:
——— Instrument transformers compliant with IEC 61869 (all parts);
——— Transmitters in industrial process applications compliant with IEC 60770 (all parts);
——— Power measurement and monitoring devices (PMD) compliant with IEC 61557-12;
——— Electricity meters compliant with IEC 62053 (all parts);
——— Handheld sensors;
——— Residual current monitoring devices (RCM) compliant with IEC 62020-1;
——— Residual current detection devices (RDC-DD) compliant with IEC 62955;
——— Cable internal control and protection devices (IC-CPD) compliant with IEC 62752;
——— Modular residual current devices (MRCD) compliant with IEC 60947-2:2024, Appendix M;
Within the measurement range, the output signal is a function of the measured value. An auxiliary power supply may be required.
