Scope
This standard provides a classification method for laminated composite gasket materials (LCGM) used in industry. In this method, the performance of the materials is not mandatory or comprehensive, so this standard is only used as a basis for describing and selecting laminated composite gasket materials.
This standard applies to laminated composite gasket materials.
This standard does not apply to coated gaskets, nor to gasket coatings.
