GB/T 17428-2026 Fire resistance test for structural ducts

Scope

This document describes the test setup, test conditions, specimens, specimen installation, maintenance, instrument use, test procedures, judgment criteria, test result presentation, test reports, and the direct application scope of test results for horizontal and vertical pipelines installed in buildings under standard (prescribed) fire conditions. This document is applicable to the fire resistance testing of ventilation and air conditioning systems, mechanical pressurized ventilation and smoke control systems, mechanical smoke exhaust systems, and kitchen and bathroom exhaust gas pipes in buildings when they are subjected to external and internal fire exposure. This document is not applicable to: a) Pipelines whose fire resistance depends on the fire-resistant components installed around them; b) Pipelines with maintenance doors, unless the maintenance doors are included in the pipeline for testing; c) Pipelines with only two or three sides; d) Hanging and fixing fixtures connected to walls or floor slabs.
