Scope

This part of GB/T 24338 applies to signal and communication equipment installed in the track area. Signal and communication equipment installed on locomotives and vehicles are regulated by GB/T 24338.4. This part specifies the emission and immunity limits, as well as the performance criteria for signal and communication equipment. These devices may interfere with other equipment in the track area or increase the total emission volume in the track area, exceeding the limits specified in relevant standards, thus posing a risk of electromagnetic interference (EMI) to equipment outside the track system.
