Scope
This standard is based on the signals transmitted from the fire alarm detection system to the elevator control system, and stipulates the special requirements and safety rules to ensure the elevator's performance in the event of a fire in a building. This standard applies to new passenger elevators and freight elevators. For passenger elevators and freight elevators in use, this standard can also be used as a basis for improving safety. This standard provides various options for elevator control in the event of a fire in a building.
