Scope

This specification stipulates the quality acceptance standards for materials of petrochemical vertical cylindrical low-temperature storage tanks, the construction of foundations and prestressed concrete outer tanks, the prefabrication and installation of steel tanks and accessories, welding inspection, testing, and insulation engineering, as well as the requirements for technical documents for project completion. This specification applies to the construction quality acceptance of single-capacity, double-capacity, and full-capacity vertical cylindrical low-temperature storage tanks used to store low-liquid state media such as hydrocarbons or ammonia with a boiling point of 0°C to -165°C, and a design pressure not exceeding 50 kPa.
