Scope

This standard specifies the definitions of the physical layer, data link layer, and application layer of the communication based on the Control Area Network (CAN) between electric vehicle non-vehicle-mounted conductive chargers (hereinafter referred to as chargers) and battery management systems (BMS).
This standard applies to the communication between chargers and BMS that adopt the charging mode 4 specified in GB/T 18487.1, and also applies to the communication between chargers and vehicle control units with charging control functions.
