GB/T 18487.1-2015 Electric vehicle conductive charging system—Part 1:General requirements
Basic Information
Scope
This part of GB/T 18487 specifies the classification of electric vehicle conductive charging systems, general requirements, communication, electric shock protection, the connection between electric vehicles and power supply equipment, special requirements for vehicle interfaces and power supply interfaces, structural requirements for power supply equipment, performance requirements, overload protection and short-circuit protection, emergency stop, operating conditions, maintenance, and marking and instructions.
This part applies to power supply equipment for electric vehicles used for non-vehicle conductive charging of electric vehicles, including AC charging piles, non-vehicle chargers, connection devices for electric vehicle charging, etc., with a maximum rated voltage of the power supply being 1,000 V AC or 1,500 V DC, and a maximum rated output voltage being 1,000 V AC or 1,500 V DC.
This part also applies to power supply equipment for electric vehicles that obtain energy from on-site energy storage systems (such as buffer battery packs, etc.).
Under the following special conditions, power supply equipment for electric vehicles should add additional functions:
a) The power supply equipment for electric vehicles is located in a dangerous area where there are flammable gases or vapors, fuels, or other flammable or explosive substances;
b) The power supply equipment for electric vehicles is designed and installed at an altitude of more than 2,000 m.
This part does not apply to safety requirements related to the maintenance of electric vehicle conductive charging systems, nor to the on-board charging equipment specified in ISO 17409, nor to trolleybuses, railway vehicles, industrial vehicles, and power supply equipment primarily used for off-road vehicles.
