Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, statistical scope, calculation methods, and scope of calculation for energy consumption (hereinafter referred to as "energy consumption") limits of polysilicon enterprises' product units, as well as energy-saving management and measures.
This standard applies to all enterprises that produce trichlorosilane using industrial silicon, chlorine gas, and hydrogen gas as raw materials, and produce trichlorosilane by hydrogenating silicon tetrachloride, which is a by-product. After trichlorosilane is purified by distillation and reduced with high-purity hydrogen gas to produce polysilicon, the energy consumption of the product units of these enterprises is calculated and evaluated, and the energy consumption of new projects is controlled.
