Scope

This standard specifies the product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, transportation, storage, and order form (or contract) content of solar-grade polycrystalline silicon products.
This standard applies to rod-shaped polycrystalline silicon, block-shaped polycrystalline silicon, and granular polycrystalline silicon products produced using (improved) Siemens process and silane process with chlorosilane as the raw material. The products are mainly used for the production of solar-grade monocrystalline silicon rods and directionally solidified polycrystalline silicon ingots.
