Scope
This part of GB/T 18898.1 defines the terms and definitions, and classification of Erbium-doped fiber amplifiers (EDFAs); specifies the technical requirements, test methods, reliability tests, electromagnetic compatibility tests, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage for C-band and extended C (C++) band EDFA in optical communication systems such as optical transmission networks, optical access networks, and data centers, and C-band EDFA in other application fields can also be used as a reference.
