Scope
This standard specifies the strength calculation method, structural and material requirements, and allowable stress of pressure-bearing components for water-tube boilers; it also provides a verification method for determining the maximum allowable calculation pressure of components. This standard applies to pressure-bearing components of fixed water-tube steam boilers and fixed water-tube hot water boilers with a rated pressure not lower than 0.10 MPa [1], including boiler drums, header drums, pipes, pipes within the boiler scope, convex heads, flat end covers and covers, and shaped components.
