Scope

This standard specifies two determination methods for 41 kinds of glucocorticoids in cosmetics: liquid chromatography/tandem mass spectrometry (LC/MS/MS) and thin-layer chromatography (TLC).
The LC/MS/MS determination method in this standard is suitable for the quantitative determination of glucocorticoids in cosmetics, with a detection limit of 0.03 μg/g and a quantification limit of 0.1 μg/g.
The TLC method in this standard is suitable for the qualitative screening of glucocorticoids in cosmetics. When the sample amount is 10 mg, the detection limit is 50 μg/g; when the sample amount is 20 mg, the detection limit can reach 25 μg/g.
