Scope

This standard specifies the laboratory test methods and acceptance criteria for determining the strength and wear resistance of protective covers for universal joint drive shafts of agricultural and forestry tractors and machinery. This standard should be used in conjunction with GB/T 17126. This standard applies to the testing of protective covers for universal joint drive shafts and their stop devices. This standard does not apply to the testing of protective covers for universal joint drive shafts used as steps.
