Scope
This standard specifies the quality requirements for hazelnut kernels, preparation before storage, storage methods and storage periods, storage management, removal from storage, sorting, packaging, labeling, transportation, and technical requirements for inspection. This standard applies to the commercial storage of hazelnut kernels from Corylus heterophylla Fisch. and Corylus heterophylla Fisch. × Corylus avellana L. Other types of hazelnut kernels can be implemented with reference to this standard.
