Scope
This part of GB/Z 29619 specifies the requirements for physical layer components. It also stipulates the requirements for media and network configurations to ensure:
a) The data integrity before error checking in the WB data link layer;
b) The interoperability between physical layer devices.
The fieldbus physical layer complies with the provisions of the first layer in the OSI 7-layer model of GB/T 9387.1.
