Scope

This part of GB/Z 29619 defines the externally visible services provided by the INTERBUS data link layer in an abstract manner, relying on the following:
a) The actions and events of service primitives;
b) The parameters related to the actions and events of primitives and the formats they use;
c) The relationships between actions and events and their valid sequence.
The purpose of this part is to define the services provided for the following two items:
1) The INTERBUS application layer at the interface between the application layer and the data link layer;
2) The system management at the interface between the data link layer and the fieldbus reference model's system management.
