Scope
This standard specifies the ordering conditions, technical requirements, factory inspection and testing requirements, and performance testing rules for mixed-flow pumps and axial-flow pumps (hereinafter referred to as pumps).
This standard applies to pumps used for transporting clean water or liquids with physical and chemical properties similar to clean water, as well as pumps used for transporting seawater. The temperature of the transported liquids shall not exceed 50 °C.
When there are conflicting technical requirements among multiple documents, the applicability of each document shall be determined in the following order:
a) Purchase order;
b) Data sheet (see Appendix A);
c) This standard;
d) Other standards mentioned in the purchase order.
