Scope
This standard specifies the basic requirements for the safe production of ammonia cold storage, the operation and management of refrigeration systems and refrigeration operations, the maintenance and repair of safety facilities and refrigeration system equipment, special equipment, ammonia cold storage rooms, personnel and training, control of major hazard sources of dangerous chemicals, emergency rescue, and occupational health, etc.
This standard applies to cold storage facilities that use liquid ammonia as a refrigerant.
