Scope
This standard specifies the structure and materials, dimensions and tolerances, appearance, technical conditions, and evaluation methods of rubber and plastic hoses and hose assemblies used in household gas applications. It also covers testing frequency, marking, packaging, transportation, storage, and use. This standard applies to rubber and plastic hoses (hereinafter referred to as "hoses") and hose assemblies used for connecting gas switches and combustion appliances in urban low-pressure gas systems with an operating temperature of -10°C to 70°C and a working pressure of less than 3.3 kPa, as well as for connecting pressure regulators and combustion appliances of household bottled liquefied petroleum gas.
