Scope
This document specifies a method for determining the fiber content in a binary mixture of aromatic polyamide fibers and certain other fibers after removing non-fibrous substances by chemical analysis.
This document is applicable to binary mixtures of aromatic polyamide fibers and animal fibers (silk, sheep's wool, goat's hair, other special animal fibers), cellulose fibers (cotton, linen, viscose fibers, modal fibers, lyocell fibers, cuprammonium fibers), polyamide fibers, polyester fibers, polypropylene fibers, polyacrylonitrile fibers, or certain modified polyacrylonitrile fibers.
