GB/T 2910.12-2009 Textiles—Quantitative chemical analysis—Part 12:Mixtures of acrylic,certain modacrylic,certain chlorofibres,certain elastanes and certain other fibres (method using dimethylformamide)
Basic Information
Scope
This part of GB/T 2910 specifies a method for determining the content of polyacrylonitrile fibers, certain modified polyacrylonitrile fibers, certain chlorine-containing fibers, or certain elastic fibers in two-component mixtures of polyacrylonitrile fibers, certain modified polyacrylonitrile fibers, certain chlorine-containing fibers, or certain elastic fibers with other fibers, after removing non-fibrous substances using the dimethylformamide method;
—— polyacrylonitrile fibers, certain modified polyacrylonitrile fibers, certain chlorine-containing fibers, certain elastic fibers;
and
—— animal fibers, cotton (raw cotton, bleached cotton, dyed cotton), viscose fibers, cuprammonium fibers, modal fibers, polyamide fibers, polyester fibers, and glass fibers.
This method can also be used for animal fibers, wool, and silk that have been pre-metal complex-dyed, but it is not applicable to those that have been post-metal complex-dyed.
