Scope

This part of GB/T 2910 specifies the method for determining the content of protein fibers in certain mixed fibers composed of the following fibers after removing non-fiber substances by the hypochlorite method:
——Wool, chemically treated wool, other animal fibers, silk, and regenerated protein fibers from casein
and
——Cotton, cuprammonium fiber, viscose fiber, modal fiber, polyacrylonitrile fiber, chlorine-containing fiber, polyamide fiber, polyester fiber, polypropylene fiber, glass fiber, and elastic fiber.
If several types of protein fibers exist in the fabric simultaneously, this method can only determine their total amount and cannot obtain their individual quantities.
