Scope
This document specifies the models, materials, technical requirements, testing, acceptance rules, shipment, and storage of large-length AC submarine cables with cross-linked polyethylene insulation and a rated voltage of 500 kV (Um=550 kV) (hereinafter, all submarine cables refer to AC submarine cables).
This document is applicable to large-length AC submarine cables with cross-linked polyethylene insulation and a rated voltage of 500 kV (Um=550 kV) (including fiber optic composite cables) used under submarine laying and operating conditions.
