Scope

This part of GB/T 9978 specifies the test methods for determining the fire resistance performance of load-bearing horizontal partition components whose surfaces are subjected to fire exposure. If it is impossible to conduct tests on components such as roofs or floor slabs due to the lack of beam support, this part also applies to such load-bearing horizontal partition components with beams. However, the test data cannot be directly transferred and applied between these two types of test specimens.
