Scope
本文件规定了控制防爆设备潜在点燃源的电气安全装置的基本要求、功能要求、试验和验证以及标志和使用说明书等要求。本文件适用于执行安全功能来控制爆炸性环境中电气或非电气防爆设备潜在点燃源的电气安全装置。本文件为设备制造商提供指导,在这些设备制造商中,使用电气安全装置来降低爆炸性环境中防爆设备的潜在点燃源成为有效点燃源的可能性。本文件也可应用于执行安全功能的元件组合。例如:--传感器;--逻辑系统;--最终元件。本文件也可用于独立评定非特定防爆设备设计的安全装置。安全装置能作为达到防爆设备相对于潜在点燃源所需的设备保护级别(EPL)的一种措施。安全装置和防爆设备的组合将符合GB/T 3836(所有部分)中关于EPL的相关标准。然而,通过简单增加安全装置来提高防爆设备的EPL不在本文件的范围内。本文件不适用于:--机械控制设备,例如泄压阀、机械调速器和其他机械安全装置;--气体探测的使用;--防止形成爆炸性环境的控制设备,例如惰化系统和通风系统;--爆炸缓解。注: 部分潜在点燃源通过安全装置控制可能不具备可操作性。如果电气安全装置的安全完整性等级在GB/T 3836的其他部分中进行了确定,本文件可用作实现安全完整性等级的参考。电气安全装置可以作为受控防爆设备(EEUC)的一部分安装,也可以单独安装,并且可以位于危险场所的内部或外部。
