Scope

This standard specifies the method for determining the content of the migratable elements antimony, arsenic, barium, cadmium, chromium, lead, mercury, and selenium in toy materials by inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry (ICP-AES).
This standard is applicable to the determination of the migratable elements antimony, arsenic, barium, cadmium, chromium, lead, mercury, and selenium in toy materials. The analysis wavelengths and method detection limits for each element are shown in Table 1.
Note: The above-mentioned analysis wavelengths are the recommended analysis wavelengths in this standard (there may be slight differences in the analysis wavelength display values of different instruments). Other analysis wavelengths provided in Appendix A can also be selected. However, different analysis wavelengths may have different interference situations, and the method detection limits may also vary significantly.
