Scope

This document specifies the requirements and test methods for substances and materials used in chemical toy sets, except for experimental toys. These substances and mixtures include: — Substances and mixtures classified as hazardous by GB 30000 (all parts); — Substances and mixtures that may harm children's health if used in excessive amounts, except for the above-mentioned classification; — Other chemical substances and mixtures included with the toys. In addition, the document also stipulates requirements for labeling, warnings, safety rules, item lists, usage instructions, and first aid information. This document applies to: — Plaster molding sets; — Oven-cured plastic PVC modeling clay sets; — Polystyrene particle sets; — Embedding sets; — Adhesives, paints, varnishes, lacquers, thinners, and cleaning agents (solvents) provided or recommended in model-making sets.
