Scope

This document specifies a method for determining the content of water-soluble chlorides in iron ore using ion-selective electrodes.
This document is applicable to the determination of the content of water-soluble chlorides in natural iron ore, iron concentrate, sintered ore, and pellet ore. The determination range (mass fraction): 0.007%~0.1%.
Note: Water-soluble chlorides in iron ore refer to the chloride obtained by leaching iron ore with aqueous solutions under near-neutral conditions.
