GB/T 41758.1-2022 Plastics—Polyketone (PK) moulding and extrusion materials—Part 1:Designation system and basis for specifications
Basic Information
Scope
This document establishes a naming system and classification basis for polyketone (PK) molding and extrusion materials. Polyketone polymers are composed of regularly alternating olefin units and ketone groups, with vinyl and propylene groups randomly distributed among the olefin units.
Different types of polyketone plastics are distinguished based on a classification system based on the values of specified characteristic properties and specific applications and/or processing methods, important properties, additives, colorants, fillers, and reinforcing materials. The characteristic properties of polyketone plastics include melting temperature, melt mass flow rate, and load deformation temperature.
This document applies to all polyketone terpolymers and their blends. It also applies to materials in powder, granular, or sheet form, whether unmodified or modified with colorants, additives, fillers, etc.
Materials with the same name do not necessarily have the same properties. This document does not provide the engineering data, performance data, or processing conditions data required for specifying materials. If necessary, these additional properties can be determined using the test methods specified in GB/T 41758.2.
To illustrate the special applications of a certain thermoplastic material, additional requirements can be provided in character group 5 (see 4.1).
