Scope
This standard specifies the classification, marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and requirements for labeling, packaging, transportation, and storage of acrylic short fibers and tow. This standard applies to semi-matte and glossy acrylic short fibers and tow made from polymer copolymers mainly composed of acrylonitrile through wet or dry spinning processes. The linear density of single fibers is within the range of 1.11 dtex to 11.11 dtex. Other specifications and types of acrylic short fibers and tow can be used for reference.
