Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and marking, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and requirements for marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of polyester coarse monofilament drawn yarns.
This standard applies to semi-matte and glossy polyester coarse monofilament drawn yarns with a total linear density of 30.0 dtex to 500.0 dtex, a single filament linear density of 8.0 dtex to 40.0 dtex, and a circular cross-section, triangular, or three-leaf shaped cross-section. Other types of polyester coarse monofilament drawn yarns can be used as a reference for application.
