GB/T 17457-2019 Ductile iron pipes and fittings—Cement mortar lining

Scope

This standard specifies the materials, coating methods, lining thickness, and surface condition of cement mortar linings for nodular cast iron pipes and fittings in GB/T 13295-2019 and GB/T 26081-2010, as well as the corresponding test methods.
This standard applies to linings that improve the hydraulic characteristics (compared with unlined nodular cast iron pipes and fittings) and corrosion resistance of nodular cast iron pipes and fittings. It also sets out special requirements for linings of non-full-flow self-flowing sewage pipelines.
This standard also applies to linings for transporting special corrosive liquids. In this case, the following methods can be used separately or in combination:
——Increase the lining thickness;
——Change the type of cement;
——Apply a coating to the surface of the lining.
