GB/T 32488-2016 Ductile iron pipes and fittings—Seal coats for cement mortar linings
Basic Information
Scope
This standard specifies the requirements for a sealing coating applied to the inner surface of cement mortar linings of nodular cast iron pipes and fittings in factories. The cement mortar linings are also applied in factories. This standard also sets out the requirements for short-term sealing performance, long-term sealing performance, and type testing for water pressure cycling tests, as well as daily inspections such as appearance, thickness, and adhesion requirements and testing methods. This standard applies to nodular cast iron pipes and fittings with cement mortar linings used for water transmission. Note: The purpose of the sealing coating is to reduce the contact between the cement mortar lining and the water in the water supply pipeline, limit the infiltration of inorganic materials into the water, and at the same time reduce the water transmission resistance and improve the water transmission capacity.
