GB/T 13295-2019 Ductile iron pipes,fittings and accessories for water or gas applications

Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, technical requirements, test methods, dimensions and tolerances, inspection rules, and quality certificates for spheroidal cast iron pipes, fittings, accessories, and their interfaces for water and gas applications, which are processed by any type of casting process or assembled from cast iron components. It also sets out the type test requirements for interface components. This standard applies to pipes, fittings, accessories, and their interfaces, including sockets, sockets, or flanges, which are generally delivered in an internally and externally coated state. The size range is DN40 to DN3000, and the fluid temperature is 0 °C to 50 °C. The applicable scope is as follows: — Used for the transmission of various types of water for different purposes; — For pressurized or unpressurized transmission; — For underground or aboveground installation; — For the transmission of gas (such as artificial gas, natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas, etc.) with a design pressure of Class A medium pressure and below. This standard does not apply to the transmission of fluids at temperatures below the freezing point (which does not exclude the use of the product at higher temperatures). Pipes and fittings are graded according to allowable working pressure or wall thickness. Note: All pressures in this standard are relative pressures, with the unit being megapascals (MPa).
