Scope

This document describes the experimental steps for determining the methane, acetylene, carbon dioxide, and total hydrocarbon content in oxygen and air, and specifies the experimental conditions, reagents and materials, instrumentation, sampling, experimental steps, experimental data processing, precision and measurement uncertainty, quality control and assurance, and requirements for experimental reports.
This document is applicable to the online monitoring and offline detection of methane, acetylene, carbon dioxide, and total hydrocarbon content in liquid oxygen, liquid air, intake air, and liquid oxygen tanks in air separation processes. The measurement range is (0.05–500) × 10 -6 (mole fraction).
