Scope
This standard specifies the energy efficiency measurement requirements, measurement and inspection procedures, measurement and inspection methods, evaluation criteria for measurement and inspection results, and inspection reports for AC fans (hereinafter referred to as "fans").
This standard applies to the energy efficiency measurement and supervision and inspection of desktop fans, wall fans, floor fans, standing fans, ceiling fans, and swing fans driven by AC motors with a rated voltage of not more than 250 V for single-phase power, and a rated voltage of not more than 480 V for other voltages. For commissioned inspections, this standard can be referenced. Units that produce and sell fans can also conduct inspections in accordance with this standard.
The fans subject to inspection should be products that have passed the manufacturer's self-inspection or goods imported and sold by the seller.
