JJF 1261.16-2017 Rules of Metrology Testing for Energy Efficiency of Electric Storage Water Heaters

Scope

This standard specifies the energy efficiency measurement requirements, testing conditions, measurement and testing procedures, measurement and testing items and methods, evaluation criteria for measurement and testing results, and testing reports for storage-type electric water heaters for household and similar purposes (hereinafter referred to as electric water heaters).
This standard applies to the supervision and testing of electric water heaters for energy efficiency measurement. Units that produce and sell electric water heaters can also refer to this standard for testing.
This standard only applies to storage-type electric water heaters for household and similar purposes. This standard does not apply to new energy water heaters with electric auxiliary heating and heat pump water heaters. The electric water heaters accepted for testing should be products that have passed the manufacturer's self-inspection or goods imported and sold by sellers.
