Scope

This standard specifies the measurement requirements, measurement testing procedures, measurement testing methods, evaluation criteria for measurement testing results, and testing reports for the energy efficiency of digital TV receivers (set-top boxes) that operate normally under a 220 V, 50 Hz power supply, including cable, terrestrial, and satellite digital TV receivers (hereinafter referred to as "receivers").
This standard applies to the supervision and testing of the energy efficiency of receivers. For commissioned testing, this standard can be referenced. Units that produce and sell receivers can also conduct testing in accordance with this standard.
The receivers subject to testing should be products that have passed the manufacturer's self-inspection or goods imported and sold by sellers.
