Scope

This standard specifies the working conditions, wiring requirements, marking, and inspection for electrical cabinets and cables installed on rail transit locomotives and vehicles. This standard applies to the wiring between electrical equipment (including cables, busbars, terminal strips, terminals, plugs, and sockets, etc.) of locomotives, EMUs, passenger cars, urban rail vehicles, and maglev vehicles, and to wiring related to power transmission and transformation, energy collection, electrical control, or system monitoring. Locomotives and vehicles for other purposes (such as engineering vehicles and special industrial vehicles) may refer to this standard for implementation.
