Scope

This standard specifies the classification, nominal thickness, and application time of polyethylene blown film for agricultural ground cover (hereinafter referred to as "geomembrane"), as well as its requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage. This standard applies to films used for ground cover, which are mainly made of polyethylene and may be supplemented with necessary additives through the blow molding process. This standard does not apply to degradable geomembranes.
