GB/T 37977.51-2023 Electrostatics—Part 5-1:Protection of electronic devices from electrostatic phenomena—General requirements
Basic Information
Scope
This document specifies the requirements for ESD control procedures, and IEC TR 6134052 provides relevant implementation guidelines. This document applies to the manufacturing, processing, assembly, installation, packaging, labeling, service, testing, inspection, transportation, and other production activities of electrical and electronic components, assemblies, and equipment with an electrostatic sensitivity no lower than 100 V for the human body model (HBM), 200 V for the charged device model (CDM), and 35 V for isolated conductors. When handling ESD-sensitive products with lower electrostatic sensitivity voltage thresholds, control elements can be added or limits adjusted as needed, and they can still be considered to meet the requirements of this document. This document does not apply to electric detonation equipment, flammable liquids, gases, and powders. The purpose of this document is to provide management and technical requirements for establishing, implementing, and maintaining ESD control procedures (hereinafter referred to as "procedures"). Note: Isolated conductors were previously represented by the machine model (MM).
