Scope
This standard specifies the requirements for foam nickel used in batteries, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage, and contract content, etc. This standard is applicable to foam nickel used in alkaline batteries such as cadmium-nickel, zinc-nickel, and metal hydride nickel.
