Scope
This document specifies the terms, definitions, symbols and abbreviations, materials, product classification, color, appearance, size and physical and mechanical properties of hard polyvinyl chloride (PVC-U) pipes (hereinafter referred to as "pipes") made from PVC-U compound as raw material and extruded into shape, and describes the corresponding test methods, inspection rules, marking, transportation and storage.
This document is applicable to pipes with an outer diameter of dn110 mm to dn1 600 mm connected by elastic sealing rings and pipes with an outer diameter of dn110 mm to dn450 mm connected by adhesives.
This document is applicable to non-pressure sewage and drainage pipes buried in the ground with a temperature of the transported medium not exceeding 45 °C. Under the condition that the chemical resistance and heat resistance of the pipes meet the application requirements, it is also applicable to non-pressure sewage and drainage pipes used in industry or pipe galleries.
This document is not applicable to the sewage and drainage hard polyvinyl chloride (PVC-U) pipe systems buried indoors in buildings.
