Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and models, materials and structures, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of heat exchangers for gas water heaters and heating boilers (hereinafter referred to as "heat exchangers").
This standard applies to copper and stainless steel heat exchangers installed in household gas rapid water heaters specified in GB 6932 and CJ/T 336, and also to copper and stainless steel heat exchangers installed in single-heating and heating-and-water-heating gas heating boilers specified in GB 25034 and CJ/T 395.
This standard does not apply to plate heat exchangers in gas heating and water heating combination boilers.
