Scope

This standard specifies the norms for measuring the airborne noise level of hydraulic motors (hereinafter referred to as motors) operating under steady-state conditions. This standard is applicable to measuring the A-weighted sound power level of motors and the sound power level of motors in the frequency band (with a center frequency ranging from 125 Hz to 8,000 Hz). This standard is not applicable to motors operating at a speed of less than 50 r/min, or motors with a large value of the reference rectangular hexahedron dimension exceeding 1 m. Other types of hydraulic motors can also refer to this standard for use.
