Scope

This standard specifies the determination of the sulfide content by the iodine method. This standard is applicable to the determination of the sulfide content in fluorite, with a measurement range of: mass fraction wS (%) ≥ 0.001% (sulfide is calculated as sulfur). This standard is not applicable to the determination of polysulfides in the sample.
