Scope

This standard specifies the methodological principles, reagents, equipment, samples, analytical procedures, calculation of analytical results, and allowable deviations for determining the carbonate content in fluorite. This standard includes two methods: EDTA titration, with a measurement range (mass fraction expressed as calcium carbonate) of 0.10% to 3.00%; and acid-base titration, with a measurement range (mass fraction expressed as calcium carbonate) of ωCaCO3≥0.040%.
