Scope

This standard specifies the principles, reagents, samples, analysis steps, result calculation, and allowable deviations for determining the silica content in fluorite. This standard includes three methods: the molybdenum blue spectrophotometry, with a determination range (mass fraction) of 0.10% to 2.00%; the gravimetric method, with a determination range (mass fraction) of 1.50% to 40.00%; and the reduced molybdenum blue spectrophotometry, with a determination range (mass fraction) of 0.05% to 4.00%. This standard is applicable to the determination of the silica content in fluorite.
