Scope

This document specifies the structural type, technical requirements, materials, test methods, inspection rules, marking and nameplates, as well as protection, packaging, storage, and transportation of metal sealed ball valves.
This document is applicable to flanged, welded, or threaded metal sealed ball valves with nominal sizes of DN15~DN800 and nominal pressures of PN16~PN400, and nominal sizes of NPS1/2~NPS32 and nominal pressures of Class150~Class2500. The applicable temperature range is -29 ℃~550 ℃, and the applicable media include gases, liquids, and gas-solid, gas-liquid, solid-liquid, and gas-solid-liquid multiphase flows.
